GBR Lifesaving is looking to send an IRB team to represent GBR at LWC 2024
The team will comprise 4 male and 4 female competitors and we are calling for expressions of interest.
Selection is open to any athlete who is a full current member of either RLSS UK, SLSA Wales or SLSGB who will be able to meet the selection criteria. You will need to hold the appropriate driver, crew or patient qualification, be in good standing and be able to compete in Kurrawa, Broadbeach 4th September 2024.
Please note that currently there is no funding available to support the team so all athletes and managers will need to self-fund their trip. GBR Lifesaving will endeavour to secure sponsorship to reduce the financial burden.
If there is sufficient interest GBR Lifesaving will then host and run training and trial sessions from which the 8-person team will be selected.
