Child Protection Progress - Since 2004, SLSA Wales is now playing an active role within the CPSU and NSPCC Training Programme and 2005 will see the role out of the ‘Time To Listen' Training Programme. We are pleased to report that much progress has been made since. The Sports Council for Wales CPSU/NSPCC have now received a Budget from the Welsh Assembly to introduce this long awaited Inter Club CPO training programme. Nipper Camp - Our Nipper Camp Training Weekends are always something very special to all concerned. We have now secured our own Nipper Structured Training Programme for future years. I would like to thank Phil Rees for his help in the Printing of the Manual and our Youth Commission Committee for their contribution in putting it all together. The Nipper Camp Fun Educational Water Safety and Sports Programme is achieving all our Aims and Objectives. Coaches and the Children are our Future. Over the past Ten Years within this programme, we have Set Standards and developed all Club Memberships. The Nippers are really on the crest of a wave and have a brilliant future
SLSA Wales now have a working database of registered CRB Checks and I would like to thank all Members and Clubs for their support and patience over this introductory period.
