SLSA Wales Pool Mini League Series 2017

3 Off Meetings Dec. Jan & Feb.
Price Date and Venue to be confirmed but provisionally
£40/team –Saturdays 4.30pm on Dec.3rd , Jan. 21st Feb.18th @ Ynysawdre Pool

1) OBSTACLE RELAY: (8 Legs)
- Each competitor swims 50m going under obstacle on each length
- Swimmers must surface before going under the obstacle on every length including the 1st one.
2) LINE THROW 3 legs (Set at Gates 12.5m so time limit 2minutes)
- RESCUER1 throws line to PATIENT 1- pulls patient into wall
- RESCUER 2 (patients 1) throws line to PATIENT 2- pulls patient into wall
- RESCUER 3 (patient 2)throws line to PATIENT3- pulls patient into wall
- FINISH when PATIENT 3 touches wall
- 2 minute time limit
3) COMBINED MANIKIN RELAY:
- SWIMMER 1: 50m swim with fins. 1st length must be underwater.
- SWIMMER 2: 50m swim No fins. Swimmer must swim last 12.5m underwater and retrieve manikin at bottom of pool (manikin must surface first)
- SWIMMER 3: Tows manikin 25m no fins
- SWIMMER 4: Tows manikin 25m no fins
- SWIMMER 5: Tows manikin 50m with fins
- SWIMMER 6: Tows manikin 50m with fins
4) RESCUE TUBE RELAY: (1 Rescue Tube Only )
- SWIMMER 1: 50m with rescue tube - No fins
- SWIMMER 2: 50m with Tube & fins towing previous swimmer
- SWIMMER 3: 50m with rescue tube - No fins
- SWIMMER 4: 50m with Tube & fins towing previous swimmer
- SWIMMER 5: 50m with rescue tube - No fins
- SWIMMER 6: 50m with Tube & fins towing previous swimmer
- FINISH IS ON RESCUER TOUCHING WALL.
5/) Fin Relay 6 50m
Each Competitor to swim 50m, first 25m must be kick only

AGES – On Jan 1st 2017
Juniors must be 12 & under 16
Masters must be 35+
Open 12+

Two Categories available to enter. (Must be members of SLSA Wales)
Open
Masters Juniors Combined.

MASTER/JUNIOR TEAMS MUST HAVE ATLEAST 1 MASTER & 1 JUNIOR

ALL EVENTS TO FOLLOW ILS RULES WHERE POSSIBLE
TEAMS TO BE A MINIMUM OF 6 MAXIMUM OF 8
FALSE START RULE TO BE CONFIRMED ON NIGHT BUT WILL BE CURRENT ILS RULE.
CLUB HATS MUST BE WORN DURING ALL EVENTS. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN POINTS BEING DEDUCTED FROM TOTAL SCORE .
