Surf Life Saving Wales is pleased to announce from 1st September 2011 the Coaching Structure is now fully available for delivery to our clubs and members. Our coaching structure is broadly in line with the recommended generic structure for Governing Bodies, although the Level 5 Elite Coach is termed ‘Advanced practitioner’ for us. As with the recommended generic structure for all sports, we also include the National Coaching Foundation (NCF) modules, which form a compulsory part of the qualification. These programmes are delivered at various times throughout the year and are split between Surf Sport and NCF modules. For further details contact: coaching@slsawales.org.uk

The calendar of events shows courses arranged for the year. It is also possible for non-members of our Association to take these Awards, or indeed have specific self-financing courses arranged. For further details of this or on any of the above, contact Hugh Murry Chair Technical Commission (Tel: 07966 026756 or email: lifesaving@slsawales.org.uk)
