For 2021, the Lifesaving Commission have introduced electronic incident forms for reporting club incidents. Traditionally, the SLSA Wales`s secretary has asked for these incident summaries at the end of the summer season for inclusion in our Annual Report. If clubs embrace this new initiative, it will make the returns at the end of each season unnecessary and will also allow the Lifesaving Commission to analyse the incident statistics on a weekly basis. If therefore, there is a particular problem that seems to be reoccurring, it may allow clubs and SLSA Wales the opportunity to work together to reduce or eliminate that particular issue.

Access details to these new electronic forms have been sent to club secretaries and they can be completed using laptops, iPads, mobile phones, etc. Access details can also be downloaded from the Technical Folder in the Members Only area on our website.

A small real-time summary of the incident statistics is shown on the Home Page of our website. We ask all clubs to please support us in this new initiative, which we expect to have benefits us all.
