World Championships for National Teams Open and Youth will be held from September 28th to October 2nd at Riccione, Italy

The GBR Team Selection Process will be opened to those who are eligible in December 2021.

A full announcement inviting a declaration of interest from those who are eligible will be posted by Royal Lifesaving Society Saving UK, Surf Lifesaving GB and Surf Life Saving Association Wales.

This notice is to make athletes and coaches aware of two pool events that will occur prior to the opening of selection, the results of which can be submitted as evidence to inform selection to the GBR Team:-

Event 1 RLSS UK Lifesaving Sport Challenge October 16th/17th (a selection of events are being run in accordance with Full ILS Event Rules)

Event 2 SLSGB Stillwaters Crawley Town 30th/31st October (Full ILS Rules with no modification)

It is planned to run two further pool events in 2022, one in March and one in April that will be used by Selectors for selection. Both will be run to full ILS Rules with no modification.

The full programme of events that will be used for Selection, including 3 beach events in 2022, plus full selection criteria will be confirmed in December along with the notice inviting athlete declaration of interest.
